We didn’t find out with Alta whether we were having a boy or girl and had two great names picked out the day of her birth. We love the name Alta and have heard of few people with the same name…. until this week. While buying Alta new shoes at Stride Rite the nice sales lady told me she was the third Alta she had met that week, two at the store and a bank tellers daughter. I of course asked her if they were over 80 years old and she said, “Nope, all under 3!” Plus my pediatricians office claims they have another Alta in the practice and the 80 year old lady selling fruit on Rt. 83 has the same name. Who would have thought!!??
With baby #2 we are finding out the sex and again we have two great names picked out – or at least I think so, I might have some convincing with Damon on the girls name! We haven’t started discussing middle names yet but the first names are stellar – I’m so excited.
So, as of Monday we will no longer have a genderless child, our next decision is whether to share the names or not!
